KTKV Flyers, Inc. History

The KTKV Flyers, Inc. was conceived in the summer of 2008 when a few friends found themselves without a plane to fly.

The answer: Form a flying club!

  • October 2008 – Club formed. Members approved the By-Laws
  • November 2008 – Operating Rules approved
  • December 2008 – Purchased aircraft Cessna 172
  • August 2009 – The FAA certified Redbird FMX Full Motion Flight Simulator is set up and running
  • November 2009 – Club members approved to purchase the rented hangar
  • September 2010 – There are now 10 pilots and 2 cfi’s in the club
